Closing of Ise Diorama
[A hideaway for cats at the top of the stairs]
Climb these wooden stairs and open the sliding door...
It's a special loft space where you can spend time eye-to-eye with the cats.
The facility is also fully air-conditioned, making it as comfortable as living with a cat.
When you lie down, you'll have a happy time with your cat relaxing next to you.
• Table seating for 8 people / mini table for 2 people available • You can dine and have tea in the same space as the cats.

【Up the Stairs, Behind the Sliding Door… A Hidden Cat Hideaway】
At the top of the wooden stairs, a sliding door leads to our cozy Loft Shelter,
a warm and peaceful space where you can truly live side-by-side with cats.
Lie down and meet their gaze — a gentle moment shared.
Air-conditioned and incredibly relaxing, it's like a little staycation with cats.
• 1 large table (up to 8 guests)
• 1 cozy table for 1–2 guests
• Enjoy meals or tea while surrounded by feline companions.
Note: Ceiling height is approx. 165 cm — please mind your head!
We at Diorama Restaurant met the cats about 5 years ago. At that time, we were on the verge of getting ready to close our restaurant due to the pandemic corona disaster. A mother cat came to the door of the Diorama Restaurant with three of her kittens. I knew at this point that I had to save the life of at least this family. At that time, my surroundings were very much against accepting cats. Later, with the help of my neighbors, I accepted the cats into the Diorama Restaurant . When I accepted them, I let them loose in my room. This destroyed the beautiful scenery of the diorama. I was very angry. But I could not scold them. I knew that I had deprived them of their freedom and that there would be no more customers in this store. I posted funny videos on YouTube and Twitter for the purpose of informing my staff about the situation. Later, the store received requests for interviews about these videos and posts. Before I knew it, customers from all over the world started coming to the store. When I think back on it now, I can only say that this was truly a miracle. Believe it or not, it's up to you.
