Notice Regarding Changes to Cat Intake Support Fees

Effective May 2026

Thank you very much for your continued understanding and support of Diorama Café Shelter's rescue activities.

We would like to inform you that starting in May 2026, the fees for accepting cats into our care will be revised as follows.

※ Acceptance of cats is subject to availability of space within our facility.
※ For emergency rescue cases, don't hesitate to get in touch with us for individual consultation.

Intake Fees for Adult Cats (1 year and older)

• 1 cat: ¥77,000 (tax included)

※ Except in emergency cases, a standard fee will apply.

Sibling Groups / Multiple Cats Accepted at the Same Time

• Up to 3 cats: ¥200,000 (tax included)

Required Medical Examinations Before Intake

Before a cat can be accepted into our facility, the person requesting intake must arrange the following examinations and treatments at a veterinary clinic:

1. Spay/neuter surgery

2. Blood tests (liver and kidney function)

3. Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia virus (FeLV) tests (antibody and antigen tests)

4. Parasite treatment (topical medication)

5. Nail trimming

6. Feline panleukopenia virus testing

Ongoing Care Fee (Continued Rescue Support)

Until a permanent adoptive family has been found, a monthly support payment of ¥10,000 per cat must be transferred each month.

Intake Fees for Kittens (Under 3 Months Old)

• 1 kitten: ¥30,000

• 2 kittens: ¥50,000

• 3 kittens: ¥80,000

※ If accepted together with the mother cat: additional ¥20,000

Feline Panleukopenia Virus Testing

Testing will also be performed by our facility upon intake.

• Testing fee: ¥5,000 per cat

Emergency Rescue Cases

For cases involving accidents, disasters, or other urgent situations, we may provide flexible support regardless of the above fees.
